Jackie has trained under dialect coaches Christine Hamel and Charles Linshaw at Boston University. Since moving to NYC, she has worked as the lead dialect coach for multiple theatrical productions and privately coaches actors looking to enhance their accent skills.

It is her belief that it is important to incorporate a wide variety of teaching methods — from IPA, to imagery; from aural to oral exercises — to cater to the individual actors’ needs. Above all, the use of dialects should support the characters, relationships, and story being told.
